Inspired by MJ's catlike quickness and predatory instincts, designer Tinker Hatfield develops the "black cat" XIII unaware that this Michael's secret nickname.

Zoom Air cushioning, a wrap-around Phyton midsole and a cat's eye Jumpman hologram come together in a stealth shoe that MJ wears to the top of the mountain on his way to the first ever double threepeat in league history.

Michael makes sure his last season in Chicago is one for the ages, once again completing the regular season, All Star Game and Finals MVP triple crown.

Claiming his record tenth scoring title (28.7 ppg), he breaks the record for consecutive double figure games (787) and sets the new standard at 840, while moving to third on the all-time scoring list (29.277). The first two playoff rounds pose no challenge for Chicago as they defeat New Jersey in three and Charlotte in five. In the Conference Final. Indian puts up more of a fight, eventually succumbing in seven. In the Finals against Utah Michael performs one of the most perfect endings in the history of sport. Down at the end of Game 6, MJ steals the inbounds pass, calmly dribbles down court and hits the buzzer-beater to win his sixth and final NBA championship.

(note that against Utah MJ wore the Air Jordans XIV)
